Softer Suspension With Lowering... What To Get?

I'm still planning to get my car lowered - but my main focus for getting new springs/shocks is to have softer suspension.
I have 16's on 40 profile tyres, so the road can be felt more.

Which springs/shocks are recommended to get a drop of roughly 40-45mm, and also allow a smoother ride?

Latest Mod - Tints

Hey All
Thought I'd just show my latest modification... Tints.
They're supposedly 60% AVLT all around.

Picture was taken on my phone; if anyone wants a better picture and in the daytime, let me know.

I haven't had a mod for a while, as ...

What size are your wheels? You get any rubbing with passengers in the back?
Also, I don't want the top part of the wheels to be covered up by the car body... 60's okay for that? Or 45's better?

I would get a second opinion...
Seeing as it's a common problem with 6N2's and you're having the exact symptons, as well as Mr Clutch saying it's possibly to do with your pedal box, you should take it to another VW garage and see what they say.
Did VW actually have a look at the car, or did they ...

Lowering On 16's... Opinions Please

I'm finally getting round to lowering my Polo...
I have 16" wheels: http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/viewtopic.php?t=20788).

I noticed that people on this forum were buying unbranded springs and shocks from a German eBayer, and recommending them. I had a look at his shop, and I'm most probably ...

I think your car looks very nice mate... I especially like the rims.
How much did you pay for your springs and how much did you pay to get them fitted?

I'm not sure if it happens to EVERY model, but I heard there was a recall for 6n2's because it is very common.
I took my car to VW, and told them my pedal box needs repairing (if you don't tell them it's the pedal box, they will want to charge you £100+ to 'search' for the problem - Mr Clutch ...

Get the pedal box checked.
This happened to me a few months back, and the pedal box had cracked.
It's a known problem with 6n2's and VW fixed it for free.

I did it yesterday. I cut the harness off with scissors and connected the wires to the speaker. I also used the scissors to chop off those clip things sticking out which obstructs the speaker from going onto the door.

I haven't yet connected the tweeter however. I will wait till I connect them to ...

Did you buy a seperate crossover, or the one already in the car?
Cause I have an amp ready for them, but I don't have a spare wiring kit until the end of the week lol.

So I'm gonna connect them to the head unit, and then when my amp is up, I'm gonna use the speaker wire coming from the amp to ...
