Thanks Guys
Done the Carb cleaner, replace temp switch replaced the throttle body as well, still happening tho Also fitted new battery as well.

Hi
I have a 1996 (P) Polo, which has had an engine problem since I got it. For no apparent reason the revs keep firing up and going to between 2-3000. They also dip now and again as if the car is going to stall.
I have had all electrodes tested and changed and I have also changed the petrol inlet ...
