FACTORY FIT SAT NAV QUESTION

Can this be removed to be replaced with an aftermarket headunit?
is it easy? and can it be fitted easily to a lesser model mark5 i.e. not a GTi
Seen a few GTi's with satnav but i like my amps and would rather have a decent aftermarket headunit than have satnav
cheers

i always put a bit of grease on the power cable when taking it through a rubber grommet, just stops it gripping and makes it slide through realy easily!

at 18 years old it was a bit of a tw@t to insure! bought it to sell to be honest, kept it a couple of months and made a tidy £1k on it!
