in all seriousness mine did this and i hit the doorcard in frustration and it worked again - i know that it sounds completely idiotic but it did work for me. Worth a shot.

I'd ask your neighbour to make sure, but either way it should show him that you..the buyer have not signed for them...they should be able to bring up a p.o.d. (proof of delivery) to show who's signiture it was...at least you can say to him that if they were damaged in this way and you havent signed ...
