Ahaha... It was probably around 20-25mph, I was concentrating more so on driving as opposed to staring at my speedo. The surface is probably one lots of you have never driven on, and there was a large amount of s**t on the road.

As stated before, partly the poor handlings fault, partly my fault ...

Servicing on the 1.9 is expensive, but then again im sure it is on the 1.4 too. I also found that the 1.9 doesn't handle as desirably as it should, where as those with lighter engines handle better.

Understand your query Dino but the car massively oversteered (maybe to do with the weight of the lump?) and my correction was quite obviously too much. Got out and realised the surface was stoney/concrete stuff and it was greasy from the rain earlier! Very common road for crashes apparently...

Ooops!

Poor handling of a Polo + Tree at side of road = Sore hip/back!

Not sure how much you were looking to spend but Becker make nice, standard looking (excellent sq) head units:

Most people tend to use velcro pads or silicone, i'd go for the latter. It acts as a glue but doesnt melt the plastic etc.

Buzby, I have the San Mariono's and they seem slightly different to the montreals in the sense that they are split rims (At least seem to be!) But yeah, mine are corroding, might have them refurbed.

Many thanks for your reply!

May I ask where did you get them from? I think i read you're selling your car, will you be selling these seperately? If so how long have they been on etc?

Cheers :)
