Thats true but their was a change in lock components in 97 so thats why it might be different?

Ive been into vw and asked them what they would do and they have no idea (no suprise there) and the bloke at my local scrappy said it might fit with a few modifications, but he wasnt sure either.

Ive just broke my lock on my door, so it needs replacing,

anyone know if the handle, lock mechanism and central pump thing from a 97 polo will fit into a 99 polo??

Get the Philj ones their awsome, but u have to wind them all the way down though :lol: Fitting them is easy, its pritty self explanitrey, their are two bolts at the bottom of the strut (suspension) undo them, then under the bonnet you have your top cap things, you'll prob need a 21mm spanner and a 1...

My mates polo makes that kinda noise when on full lock, he said somthing about the the tracking was out by half a turn? if that makes sense but not sure could be something else?

I think u just need to clean your breaks out, mine used to squeek until i replaced the pads and discs, dont take my word for it though.
