It doesnt get much clearer than that. There's no Haynes manual for this version of the polo so I havent seen diagrams like this of it.
Hmmm....., is the Tweeter mounted in the plastic part I'm removing or clipped into the metal frame thats left behind? Dont want to tear any wires out ...

I need to check a rattling/ vibration coming from one of the dash tweeters on my polo mkVI 9N (a loose screw/washer??).
