Yeh, heard elsewhere (Pistonheads) that you pay extra if you make a claim, but it was a pretty small figure like £300 or something. Wouldn't mind that, but probably best to see what they say I think. Thanks for the help anyway.

Thanks for help, might well be a good idea to phone a random company or perhaps tell my current insurer that I was considering commuting with car every day and wondered what they would want in excess of previous cover.

Thanks fol help anyways.

Insurance 'Estimated Miles'

Hi,
I insured my car at the beginning of the year and was asked for an estimated annual mileage. I quoted this as a low figure, but have now left school and will be commuting about 50 miles per day, so about 12000 miles a year. Since the figure was an estimate at the time, I am doing nothing wrong ...

DROGBA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adding yet another trophy to the cabinet. Was a poor game in all truth, but it evens things up a bit, and should make next season even better than this one.

(Cue 'where were you all when Chelsea weren't winning?' questions'

I've been on the road for anout 6 months now, and spent ages shopping round as well. In the end, I eneded up at Direct line and haggled down to £1040, with no no claims bonus. Thats on a 1.4 CL, Third party only, but with a really low estimated mileage. As cheap as i could find, hope you get a ...

As it says in his listing, the beast was in Golf+ this month and, although it doesn't say there, in the article it claims he has spent nigh-on £20k doing it up, so someone is getting a serious bargain as it is.

Not sure about the interior though....

I passed on Monday and have no intention of using P plates. I reckon that they would invite idiots to give you a hard time, rather than other peope having patience with you. Also, its a pretty steep penalty if the law catch you learning without 'L's isn't it? On a lighter note, if you are learning ...

Don't worry is the main thing. I did mine on Monday and passed. The main thing to remember is that you are good enough to pass, and if you drive like you do with your instructor you will. You are allowed plenty minor faults so if you do make a mistake or two, it isn't the end of the world. Just stay ...

Firstly, thanks for the replies. It seems that it is a close fun thing. The broker claims that a lot of people are blatantly sacmming by adding on as a named driver, but warned that just last week a guy had to pay £6000 because he had done this, had an accident and got busted by the horrible ...
