its definatley not your injectors, first of all is your ful consumtion high, if so then maybe the injectors, but its your throttle body, its dirty, common problems, all you need to do is spray carb cleaner in and blast car on motorway for an hour and clean the crap out of the engine, happend to me ...

this is for the 1.4 16v (100bhp) model but may be for others
is your engine still cuttin goff at idle? i had the same problem but fixed it, its simple, common fualts on polo's is the throttle bodies, once they are dirty they cuase problems, not enough clean air to mix with fuel, to fix it spray ...
