Re: my brand new headlights

These look like a very smart solution. I'd have no worries about opening up headlight. I did it with my old halogen headlights when an adjuster broke inside. It was simple, just a matter of going round the sealant with a hairdryer and a knife. There were no fogging problems with them afterwards I as...

Re: Haris - Green Polo 6n2 - New Interior - Pg20

Yeah the seats look good. Cloth seems nice and tight, compared to the leather I've seen of that age.

The wheels (both old and new) suit it down to the ground

Re: New Wing Mirror

You don't want a LHD stubby. They're designed for the driver sitting about 5 feet away from the mirror. You can't adjust the glass enough to see properly when you're 2 feet away from the mirror You do want a RHD stubby. They're designed for the driver sitting about 2 feet away from the mirror. trust...

Re: Next Car Choice - Now Narrowed Down

When I was a kid we had a Fiat 127, so I'm immune to wanting an Italian car, because they have "spirit" or whatever Clarkson waffles on about :? Given the choice of those two, it'd be the Mito all the way, got a lot of attention when it was displayed at Top Gear Live. I'd go with a dark co...

357 955 531 is the intermittant relay. 99 is on the top of it. There are other part numbers though, they were in Volvos and all sorts of other cars too

from which years is the ibiza spliter?
No idea, lately 1990s- early 200s I suppose. I'd stick to splitters that are actually made for the polo to be honest, not worth the hassle

i'm sorry to say they've ceased trading, according to someone on my local site. The current euro sterling exchange rate has made the business of importing parts too expensive. Very bad news if they can't come back in the future, they were always very good with my orders and ran a great section on th...

20% shampoo, 80% hot water goes into the bottle. That's about twice as strong as what I've read people with proper lances use --> http://vagdrivers.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=16701 I tend to turn my powerwasher right down too, I'd say it's possible to get ok results by attaching a lance straight...
