Love that new Fiesta design

Looks at least 20 years ahead of the Polo or the Mk6 Golf for example

I think you could spend the money better though

I used a thin broad piece of wood and went around the edges gently til i levered it out. The idea was to spread the force along a wide area. I still broke one of the plastic clips on the back of the glass, but not the glass

If I were you I'd get someone to look at the voltage getting to the bulbs. Remember, the electrical supply to the bulbs doesn't come straight, it's routed through long delicate cables from the bay, into the switch, then back out again to the lights. There's a fair chance of getting a voltage drop in...

You can get a plain black switch from Maplin and set it into one of the blanks. Or to keep the original look, you could investigate rewiring another switch (e.g. an ESP or cloth roof switch). It might also be possible to rewire a heated seat control wheel, allowing you to adjust the brightness of yo...

x2 You're going to have to pay for a proper respray once you fill the badge up, so I'd say you should just hold off and get the whole thing smoothed and painted by a pro in one go. Also think you should metal plate over the badge recess too. Basically get it done properly, so you only have to do it ...

Assuming you're referring to the recess on the boot... that's a job for a bodyshop. A metal plate will be welded into the recess. It's too big an area to fill, whatever filling method you use it would soon crack / sink.

I'd rather have the bad beam pattern from HIDs in the standard lights than those. There's too much black unused space in those.

I think the chrome versions are ok http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0251870812

I'm not an expert on this, but I would have expected around 14.2v when the car was running, and drop to about 12.5v ish after being off a few minutes, but never go much below 12v. Could well be the alternator or the new battery is bad. You could check the battery by fully charging with a battery cha...

I bought my wheels on ebay.de and paid with a funds transfer (my bank does them for free). I've bought about 20 things from Germany this way and haven't had any trouble yet. It's just the way they do business, go to German shop websites and you'll see their IBANs on the bottom of the page. I think t...

How bad is it? Every 6n / 6n2 I've driven have had a knack to getting reverse, but never needed huge force

Try putting it into 1st before going for reverse

Reverse is dodgy on Polos, I forget the explanation but VW cut corners to keep costs down on the gearbox
