Lookin more into the defi gauge but thats the expensive route lol...the gauges in my R are 52mm so imagine yours are the same does your boost gauge have the red led in it to match the rest of the dials?

Yep the boy i bought it off kept it in tip top condition no problems as of yet (touches wood) only niggle i have is my passenger foglight is cracked and is gonna sting me £60 all in from seat, by the sounds of things you got a cracking deal wit trading in the little polo in for the cupra

Thats gon be my 1st mod i think currently eying up a few, too many to choose from tho lol found the pod im needin off nomad goin for the 52mm not too big

Ah wit you now so you hav them fitted too? does your cupra hav a boost gauge fitted to it?

Thats good fella cos noticed you had like 12 faults or summin as far as im aware the only problems th previous owner had wit my R was the individual ignition coils goin

Yep thats where they are situated...i thought all R's came wit the gauges as standard as according to the boys on scn

I recently just picked up an 02 onvi yellow cupra R after owning my silver Gti and wat can i say wat a car to drive!! as shantybeater stated the only diff is the oz super "T" wheels 180bhp standard over the cupra's 156bhp also the R has stiffened suspension and a volt and oil temp gauges.....

Yep defo into the 200+club now... fraid not local im 65miles north of aberdeen in Scotland lol....there is a few cupra's goin bout my area but not any R's

Not too sure bout bhp figure as the previous owner never had it rr'd but im itchin to get it on sum rollers.....as far as im aware it running the standard Ko3 yep

Nope far from standard has been revo'd, forge front mount intercooler,forge oo7, hk coilovers, miltek cat back system.....jesus them stats are lookin good bud....was gutted wen i seen on here you bought the cupra i was phoning bout lol but more than happy wit wat i got instead!

Yep thats the 1 flew down to solihul on saturday morning to view it in the flesh....took a test drive and bought it there and then then had the fun of driving it all the way home to scotland!!!

I also have joined the seat cupra crew......sold my little silver Gti a few months back and went on the hunt for a cupra....i phoned and phoned bout the 1 SHANTYBEATER bought and go no answer now i know why now the proud owner of an onvi yellow Cupra R with plenty boost
