Um, no it isnt!!!

It takes about 2 minutes to remove the old one and then fit the new one in. There are only like 2 plastic clips holding it in!!!

Yea, you might as well. Mine was only £2 for the replacement seal from VW, and £45 labour.

Its about a 30min - 1hour job for a mechanic. (well it is when VW dont supply you with the wrong part like they did to me!)

Does anyone know if it is possible to make the windows on the 6n one touch to go down?

I know that the 6n2s have this on them and was wondering if anyone knew if you could somehow fit a window relay from a 6n2 into a 6n? or of any other way to do this.

If you want decent sound quality, you will need to replace both the head unit and the speakers. Preferably also get an amp (and sub!).

I have a preference for kit from Alpine and Focal, but its completely down to personal taste. Others on here will much prefer other makes.

take the 4 bolts out that are covered by the boot lid. Then take the 2 from each wheel arch out. Then you just have to pull it out a bit from by the wheel arches (it wraps around here slightly) and wiggle it a bit and it should come straight off fine!
