Ok,

I took it to a local garage who plugged it into their computer to discover that it has got a faulty RPM sensor.

Does anyone know how much these RPM sensors are?

Also, is this the same sensor as the camshaft sensor as I had that replaced about 3 months ago?

Cold Starts Problem

Hi all, I'm wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem or know what is causing this... Basically, when I start my car in the morning it drives fine for a few minutes, then the engine either cuts out or stutters and then limits the engine to 5000 revs. I turn the engine off and on again a...

Lol...

I've had exactly the same problem recently.

As you say, it doesn't matter which switch you press and there is a clicking noise.

Strangely, mine started working again (after removing half the door to look at the motor  ) so finger crossed yours does the same!

Rear Windscreen Washer Problems With a Twist :)

Hi all, I have noticed that my rear windscreen washer has stopped working. It appears to be leaking from the boot lid when I try to use the rear washer so I am assuming it has come undone from the rear wiper. What makes things worse is that the water is messing around with the electrics in the boot ...

Just out of interest, do you also know how to remove the front door cards aswell?

TheEggShell just out of interest is your Polo a Black one with a Chartoak sticker in the rear windows - only reason I ask is I passed through Macclesfield on Sunday and spotted a Black GTI on my way through. I'd come from Edale, and had 2 bikes on the back of mine. Hi womble68, no that won't have b...

I work for Sony Ericsson.

You get to travel loads with the job, I've just come back from Sweden which is why it's taken me a while to reply to your post :D

I've got my car booked in for a new clutch kit today so hopefully I will have trouble free driving for a while after this outlay of cash :)

Cheers Dan!

Yeah, it has a full service history!

Although it hasn't been serviced at the steelers (I wanted a better service than a quick wipe over the engine bay with a damp cloth :) )
