Randall that is s**t about the FK AK coilovers, I've had AK coilovers since beginnig of January!! and I picked them up from Gwent VW myself, no waiting or anything! Though tbh, I'm not impressed with a lot of places at the moment, DubMeister messed me about chronic ordered some wheels, 2 weeks later...

Anyone any idea what the SERV INSP actually means? I've had the OIL one come up before but now I have the SERV INSP and I'm not exactly sure what I'm ment to be doing, is it basically just a full service like oil, plugs, air filter, check cambelt etc

Just to add, I used ur guide david last week for putting mk5 lights on my mk4, top guide didn't really understand what u were saying but the pictures showed everything I need to know :D top work mate

Hey.

Fitted the splitter today it fits perfect! :D was really easy aswell, Thanks Speedlaw for suggesting to take the bumper off it made it soooo much easier to do

Hmm odd, everyone I spoke to has the connectors, I even had all the wires plummed in on my 8v!

Yep I'm sure the grilles already has the cuts out in for retro fitting of fog lamps, If not you will need to get the 2 small plastic grills that hold the fogs which are about £20 I think then fog lamps themselfs are about £50 quid each I think! Sorry I got it the wrong way round you pull it out on...

Foglamps were optional.

The light switch pulls out once for rear fogs then again for front fogs, if you can only pull it out once then your car wasnt fitted with front fogs :)

I had wondered if it was a little short but I just couldnt get it central It would be handy to know which clips were taken off but I guess trial and error is the way to go :)

As for the splitter scrapeing too much lol, that's when you know you have a low car :D

MK5 GTi --> MK4 16v front splitter?

Hey, Just wondering if anyone knows what parts u need to chop off on the MK5 GTi splitter to allow it to fit to the MK4 16v front bumper, I have the splitter and it very nearly fits but I'm a but jubious about cutting it up. Any help greatly appreciated, and if you can supply pics its worth a pint! ...
