As for the xenons, yes I added them after I bought it. Genuine OEM ones 8)
Nicely done. Was it an easy thing to do? Expensive?

Lovely replacement Alex.

Currently on the search for one of these myself. Did you get the xenons as an aftermarket fit from VW?

Re: Dead Polo....Any ideas?

Joe, good work on the Cupra R....bet you enjoy the power!

Much appreciated on having a look for the T.B. I'll drop you a PM. I haven't had a chance to look at the Polo this week as I get home from work at 7.30. If you could post it though that would be great....worth a try!

Cheers

Re: Dead Polo....Any ideas?

All things point to throttle body as you say Alex.

Was sent away to be reconditioned, but they found 0 faults with it. Going to give it a real big clean up & check all the plugs thouroughly once more. Really baffling me this one.

Re: Nigel's GTI - The Big Coilover Dilemma

Hi mate, I have a set of Spax coilovers sat in my garage.

Not fully adjustable, but can set between hard & soft ride.

Had them on my car for a good while & can really vouch for them.

PM me if interested.

Cheers

Re: Dead Polo....Any ideas?

That's what I thought- throttle.

VAG COM wasn't recognising the throttle, but that was about all it was saying.

Fuel could be a route to next look down. I'm at a loss otherwise

Dead Polo....Any ideas?

Ok, so I haven't been on here in a long while. I've been very busy over the last few months and so the Polo wasn't used in approx 3months. Went to start it the other day & unsuprisingly it had a flat battery. On went the jump leads & up she fired. Took her for a spin down the motorway & ...
