The pipe does go through the wing near to where you showed in your first picture.
It the goes down inside the inner wheel arch to the pump.

You can access the pump by removing the plastic screws holding the plastic tray and wheel arch liner-it is at the lowest part of the liner-inside front bumper ...

Update.

VW garage which I usually use wanted £250 for a second variable service. The young guy on reception does not know much!

Went to another VW dealer who gave some sound advice to switch to time/mileage service-10000 miles/ or once per year-cost including 3 new spark plugs £130 including VAT ...

Garage longlife servicing

Anyone experience in using non VW garage or specialist for service for longlife schedule?

My local all types garage used to service my Golf 3 which proved just as good as both a VW and specialist service-but cost less.

My 2003 Polo 1.2 will soon be 2 years from the date last serviced on longlife ...

I think it means that the 29 is actually days to service due.

It will count down each day.

I assume this is its first service.

It will be interesting to see if when the saervice is done that the VW garage reset the schedule-I say this because everytime my Golf 5 has needed a service I have to ...

I have found where the connection should be.

Behind the felt-behind the ABS unit. The ECU has to be lifted to see also.

At least thats where the water comes out when the rear wash is pressed.

Unless something has fallen off I cannot get the pipe to connect. It will be a very tight fit-ie short pipe ...

Dazza,

Thanks but even with the airbox removed there is no obvious pipework to join.

The pipes from the washer bottle look as though they are running up towards the wipers.

2003 Polo non working rear wash.

Anyone any ideas where the joint is for the rear and front washer pipes?
Polo 1.2 Twist 2003.
I have front washers working fine.
No rear wash.
Water drips under ABS unit.
Found a pipe close to ABS unit which could be to rear wash but no connections anywhere near.

I have had the wheel liner off to ...

Polo Boot light 2003.

Have seen several messages regarding Polo boot lights.

My 2003 Polo Twist has a light fitting which I bought from VW spares but no wires anywhere near to either plug in or look suitable.

I asked the VW dealer when the car was new but not much help really.

I see Mole has a fix-but no details or ...
