just heard from the insurance today, there willing to pay me out 4500 for the polo. which i think is pritty good considering the millage and the age!

the only thing is, the excess was 400 and the outstanding finance was 1700 so that only leaves me with 2100 :(

oh well, better than a kick in the ...

it was about 8 oclock on sat the 19th i thnk it was, and i was planning to see my mate who live not far from me. as i got close he txt me sayin not to bother comin round cos he was havin grub with his girl friends parents, i should have left him txt me back but i got inpacient ...

it was a minter. Just had the gearbox rebuilt about 2 days before it happend aswel. i told the insurance and they sed theres nothin they can do about giving me money back because it was the running gear of the car so it needed to be in working order to be valid, therefor no can do :( i was gutted ...

hey people, just a quick one, my gearbox is currently in the garage for a re-build but the guy was sayin to me tha its kinda un-fixable!!

has anyone else had this problem? i thought you could recon any broken gearbox? just a case of re-buildin the broken parts :S

i dont know what else to do with ...

ive looked everywhere for a new clutch and no where seems to have them :S hopefully the garage can find one for me lol

I tryed them, there out of stock and i dont think its a sachs clutch kit,

why is it so hard to find a clutch for the GTi!!! lol

its gotta be the most anoying car to find parts for when they go 'pop' lol

its lucky i love the car!!

i'm lost without the GTi! lol cant wait to get it back with a new feeling gearbox!!!! is there a website that sells the sachs or Luk clutch kits?

Where would I purchase a sachs clutch kit from? I'm in the middle of gettin my gearbox rebuilt and i think i'll uprate the clutch at the same time

Hey people, the GTi is going wrong again! not long after me fixing the ABS problem, this is happeing to me now!
