I just bought this Polo G40 yesterday, and yes I've named it Gordon (sad I know, but it makes it easier to know which Polo we're talking about - that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it :) ). Hmmm, that's not good. Mine is really bad, wrinkled and coming off, but I think they look the dogs on these and don't really want to have to get rid of it......

Does anyone know where you can get some of the black plasticy stuff that goes in the number plate recess on the G40 (possibly on other models too)?
Picked up my new G40 today and it's got this black stuff behind the no plate but it is lifting off and cracking!

Just been reading this thread and was wondering what would be a reasonable/good price for a '91 G40 with 106,000 miles, full history known, 2 previous owners (plus the current one), lifetime stainless exhaist, original 13" BBS alloys?
