Thanks.
Actually just checking the new 2016 Polo Price list (UK), not one model now lists as having footwell lights. When I checked back in an old catalogue from 2013, the SEL model at least had these listed. Have footwell lights actually been dropped completely from the 2016 model line up ?

2016 Blue GT
Hi all. Quick questions please. Can anyone with a late model Blue GT confirm if they now come with footwell lights and under-seat storage drawers please ? Just need to know what I have to remove from the wife's existing Blue GT to the new one when it arrives. Also on the subject of footwell lights a...

Well it's that time again
Well, it's nearly 3 years since we purchased the wife's Blue GT, and in a few months we will have had a decision to make as to whether to keep the car (and pay off the PCP balloon - which we have the money for), or chop it in for something else. Well we were going to purchase the car outright as the...

Very quick question
OK guys, been meaning to do this for over a year now on the Wife's Polo Blue GT, what type of LED bulbs does the rear roof reading light take please ? I upgraded the fronts a year go but never got around to the rear light and I was out in the car at the weekend, and the yellow rear interior light is...

RNS-510 DAB
In a change of heart, it looks like the wife and I will not be purchasing new car's after all and will keep (and pay off) both my GTD and her Blue GT when the PCP is up later this year. Quite happy about it really as both of us love our cars and at 20k miles each, they are barely run in. Anyway, eno...

Re: VW Polo GTi (6C) OEM Tyres
There's a big thread over on the MK7 Golf forum from users of the performance Golf's (GTD's, GTI's and R's) that have had 18" wheels delivered with Bridgestone Potenza S001's on (as mine did), and the pretty unanimous verdict is they are total crap and most owners get shot of straight away for ...

New Polo Blue GT spec questions
Hi Guys, Well I can't believe it's been 2½ years since we took delivery of the wife's Polo Blue GT, it's been an absolute belter. As the 3 year PCP will be up later this year, we are deciding whether to keep the car (and pay off the final amount), or with the deals VW are running at the moment (VWFS...

Re: New Engine
Seriously......a car with only 55k miles and no issues (?), you are looking to swap engines to prevent something happening in the future ! A well maintained engine (Petrol or Diesel), can easily go twice round the clock these days. Seriously, I wouldn't worry about it unless you are fed up of the po...

Re: GTI Running costs
Seems a little mean from your company.
The official HMRC rates are
Cars and Vans - First 10,000 miles - 45p/miles, Each business mile over 10,000 in the tax year @ 25p/mile ?

Re: iPhone contacts images not displayed
No Iphones will display contact photos. This has been discussed extensively over on the Golf forum's since the MK7's introduction. As the Polo now uses the MK7 MQB infotainment tech, that same will no doubt apply to the 6C Polo. It's all to do with the Bluetooth & Contact protocols that apple us...

Reverse camera for 6R
Looking into possibly fitted a rear view camera to the Wife's Polo 6R Blue GT (the one that's integrated into the boot handle). Has anyone done this and is it pretty straight forward (is there a DIY somewhere ?) . As I understand it, I need to purchase a metal mounting shim that goes inside the boot...

Re: Front Bumper Shut Lines
Sorry, can't tell you how to adjust it, but just checked the wife's car and it's perfectly even for the whole length of the joint (but then I've never had the bumper off).

Yes sorry, just to be clear, the work wasn't actually carried out, it was an advisory on the documentation when we got the car back.

Question on 2nd Service for wife's Blue GT
Quick question if I may. Following the 2nd annual service yesterday of the Wife's Polo Blue GT, (on which like mine, she has a 3 year VW service contract), it was pretty uneventful with everything fine, except that when we got the car back and I had a look at the little wallet with the service info ...
