I'd either put the plate back where it was or get the bootlid smothed and a propper recess for the plate in the bumper.

Right whats the pro's and cons of lowering my 1litre polo 6n. I don't want it too low as i have a towbar which already scrapes on the ocasional speedbump, how low can the car go before it becomes inpractical? Do people have any problems with having their car lowered? I'm fed up of my polo looking ...
