Had a test drive with the potential new car and this automatically positions the mirror down when reverse gear is selected - pretty clever!
Not if you want to see if anyone is overtaking while you reverse round a corner?

Leave the battery disconnected for a few hours and see if you notice a difference, should reset the ECU

I'd get it checked out with a Vag-com, find the exact fault

Could be a number of things, I think it also might come on when the pads are getting low.

Could be a faulty sensor

30bhp on a 1.2!

You will be looking at silly money!

To be honest, your not going to get any gains, like 10bhp without spending lumps of cash.

A cat back exaust and air filter might get you an extra 5bhp for about £400

Best advice: Save and get a larger engine

the plastic bit with wires just pulls off the bulb.

i cant remeber is there is a hard wire clip thing holding the bulb in.

its a bugger to get the actul bulb out, think i ended up twisting it !

The thing infront of the bulb also scratches the bulb

does it change the air speed when setting it on 1-2 or 3?

It could be a fuse blown for the fans?
