Re: Which way is your fuse box mounted
Don't you think it's because the car is right hand drive? The wiring loom is usually the same they just flip it over. And if the loom on the back of the fuse box isn't long enough to reach the fuse box if it's the other way round then they just flip it over too. :) Here is one from a left hand driv...

Re: Part number for aerial on BlueGT?
I'm pretty sure that the only VW that doesn't have DAB as standard is the Up. They certainly made it standard on the rest of the Polos a while back, and gave the S the RCD310 while they were at it. My 1.4 SE with standard RCD310 does NOT have DAB. It's optional extra. My RCD310 manual states "...

Re: Which way is your fuse box mounted
Thx for checking. so that's three out three that are the same. Thus it looks like the workshop manual is wrong or they deliberately chose show it that way so that the fuse numbers start with "1" at the top left (as oppose to bottom right in reality). @robbieg, VW have not printed the fuse ...

Re: foglights wiring
Aaahh OK. I think coding is only required if you fit the DUAL (DRL + Fog) light. Those lights are controlled by the BCM. For the "standard" fogs, they are powered directly from teh relay to the dash switch to the fuse 54 and finally to the bulbs. as shown in this diagram http://www.uk-polo...

Check this link http://www.partsbase.org/vw/polo-derby-vento-ind-po-eu/gregperkins wrote:Does anyone know the part number for the aerial you get on the Polo BlueGT?
Thanks
Most likely under 6R-C-000 001 (2013 Polo)
It's a great wealth of parts info.

Which way is your fuse box mounted
Just occurred to me that the way my fuse box is mounted does not match the workshop manual. Mine is like this : http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r104/para_noid_one/Polo-6R/photo4_zpsc76d42a5.jpg which seems upside-down. have is yours mounted ? ....and does yours have the white tamper-proof paint o...

Re: foglights wiring
@jammydodger, hey no worries...college comes first mate
Seems like you wired the fogs via a relay and the battery.
I am looking to wire it as per factory.

Re: foglights wiring
Still looking into wiring these puppies "OEM" style. Anyone know if you can add NEW fuses to the fuse box ? E.g. Front fogs have a 15A fuse in position 54 : http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r104/para_noid_one/Polo-6R/Fuse-box-N97-11403_zps74a08cfd.png That position is empty. Can connecto...

One farting speaker
Polo Mk8. Front passenger door speaker seems to be farting intermittently. I ran VCDS Output test on the RCD 310 and tested individual speaker tones. The base tone on the front passenger seems higher than front drivers door. During normal play, it farts sometimes - not all the time. So, the question...

Re: PARKING LIGHT FEATURE
It's a safety feature especially if you park your car on the opposite lane (facing oncoming traffic) in dark unlit roads. Normally, when you are parked on the left (in the UK) facing forward (with the traffic), your rear lights have reflectors which reflects lights shown on them from the back by oth...

Now you just need to find out if 6R0 937 086 D supports front fogs.
I think it does not support Cruise Control
