Rear Wheel arch Washed pipe??? HELP

HI Guys

Wife's 58 plate polo when in for minor body repairs to the rear wheel arch and now the washed pipe is hanging down and become disconnected (Hanging in rear wheel arch)/
This has been rubbing on the wheel and needs replacing.
Should this be behind the wheel arch line, if so where, any pics ...

Well, brought a new switch and replaced it easy enough, but the window still doesn't work from the passenger side, or maybe sometimes moves a little, suspect wireing.

Any more help or advice greatly appreciated before I have to take it to VW.

Just paid £25 from TPS for Genuine VW, will hopefully get round to fitting it at the weekend.

Replacing cracked Mirror Indicator

Hi

Wife's passenger side mirror was clipped by a car and now the plastic indicator lens is cracked and needs replacing.

Is this easy to do??

2008 mdy POLO Passenger window switch

Hi all

Wife's (new to her) polo has a problem with window switch on passenger front door, very temperamental suspect needs a new switch fitting, how easy is this to do, do i have to remove entire door card???


Any information greatly appreciated.

Wow, will have to wait until the dryer weather, also read that a yellow wire can become damaged under the car......

POLO SDI FAULT CODE 17911 help

Hi all

My wife's 2003 polo sdi is throwing the following code.

17911 P1503 Load signal from Alternator Term. DF Range/performance/Incorrect Signal.

It stuggles to start some mornings from cold but otherwise runs ok.

Any ideas???

Work to be done:-

Cambelt tensioner pully, waterpump and 60k service

VW dealer 1

£890

VW dealer 2

740

VW indi (fully trained VW Mechanics Originally from dealer 2)

£420 all in, all VW parts and fully garenteed ...

Hi Guys

My wifes polo sdi is coming up to 52 k (53 plate) MOT is due soon so i was wondering if the cambelt is due for a change or is it chain driven???

any idea???

I had the same problem on my wifes car.
Clipped that section back togethetr 3 times and still in came apart.
Ended up using a dab of superglue

Hope you get it fixed as it was a right PITA :evil: to sort.

Hi

I ended up applying a drop of superglue to edge of pipe before clipping in back together, works fine now.

Hi All

In the end i used a spot of superglue on the joint under the air box, and a piece of thin wire around the joint in the boot..

how to fix washer pipe joints???

After fixing with washer pipes the other week, they have come apart again today.
What can i use to seal them together?? Was thinking of superglue???

Do you have the wiring there but the light is missing? if so, its very easy to fit a cold cathode kit or a led array into the boot. I had 2 white cold cathode tubes in my boot but apparently their performance degrades with cold weather, so I bought some white leds and prepared a loom to fit it under ...
