Bump.

As title, brand new and unused with GTI badge but NOT the VW centre badge. Part number 6Q0 853 651 G. Does fit other Polos in the 9n3 range. So what actually has to be done to the bell housing so this kit will fit, and why does it need done?

The springs on my KW varient 1's are like the large coiled 1 piece ones with no helper springs in the top link.

Is the plastic battery cage all in one piece and available as mine is all cracked and broken. And if so how much?

Recently lowered the rear of the Polo a bit more and now the Milltek exhaust is knocking on the rear beam. Sounds about the same as me.

When I first got my Polo GTI, I fitted a spax spring and shock combo -50 mm drop and regreted it as soon as took the car for its 1st drive witht them fitted. Very unforgiving, rock hard and just not comfortable. Swapped to coilovers after about a month as couldnt stand it any longer.

All cool here too.

The gearbox side one was a bit fiddley to get all the holes lined up but got there in the end by lowering and raising the gearbox with the trolley jack a few times until they were all lined up.

Just a heads up on fitting the dogbone mount guys. I found that the centre bore of the metal insert on the side that goes into the subframe was too small for the VW bolt by about a millimeter. Just a case of drilling it out slightly, think an 11mm drill bit did the trick if I remember correctly. Unl...
