Plus I know what he was asking and i know it's perfectly possible for them to look good, i had them on mine and lots of people admired them. They aren't hard to fit if you have ...

neons

Hey m8,
Yeah it's not too hard at all to fit them yourself. Basically follow all of the instructions and use a haynes manual to help u out if u can't work out the electrics. I had them on mine until some thieving bastardo nicked them off so make sure they can't see them. Sadly all of mine were out ...

17's on a mk 4.

Hey ppl i knowm it's possible to have 17's on a mk4. but would I need to file the arches? I've had my car lowered by approx. 35mm too so that might make a difference. Perhaps if i had very low pro. tires they would?
cheers

Thieving Bastardos

:( Some thieving bastardo stole my neons last night. They just snipped thru the wiring and took the lights. What the hell is the point of doing it? The wiring is really difficult to get hold of and they need transformers etc.. and a degree of intelligence to fit the things. It just pisses me off ...

side strips

Yeah this is a good way to debadge. You can use a piece of cardboard as an alternative to dental floss if you want.
Do you know if removing side strips on a mk4 is done in the same way?
