i am having trouble removing the fitting clips for the original vw carpet mats(just bought autostyle replacements)
the rear fasteners are no problem...they just twist out on a thread
its the front ones they are just turning?

how do you change the rear indicator bulbs on a round head light mk 6?
is it worth changing the orange indicator bulb for a osram diadem bulb?
the rear lights dont have quite the "fried egg" effect on them as the front does so perhaps its not worth it ?
i am waiting to receive the front ones soon ...

i have fitted the blue bulbs but am waiting till dark to try them out!
also fitted a nice blue led interior light bulb...very smart.

thanks very much for the info.trying to do this when you cant see into the lighting enclosure is very difficult.however with the pics and instruction it was done in 30 min.
i was still unsure if the clips had engaged properly but i used a small mirror to place behind the opening to check everything ...

just the post i am looking for!
i have also bought the philips blue bulbs from a seller on e bay.( cost me £37 inc postage for full beam ,dipped beam and four sidelight bulbs) they are the bluevision bulbs.however i thought it would be a 5 min job to fit them.i have a mk6 2004 1.2 twist in blue ...
