you can also get ur speed throug it.....pres the fandown/cold and econ button and you can enter the diagnostig values....mnow use the arrows to switch "channel".....on 16 you will find ur speed....as well as many different tempratures/engine rpm....and more.....:P

Any of you Polo GTi guys did a 1/4 mile run anywhere? What did you's get!?

my 1/4 time is 16.81...speed ??? the gar Was widthout any mods and with 16" with 195/45 tires (which are 4.6% bigger).....
my 1/8 time is 10.347@109 km .....with airfilter, exhaust mod and the orignal 195/45-15" wheels.....

Cool...let us know how they are! Where did you get the car chipped, as I haven't really looked into this as the Lupo GTi chip is encased in glue, I assumed the Polo GTi one would be as well!
I haven't heard of a Lupo GTi engine being rolling roaded at standard below 130Bhp, I'd assume the same ...

the fact is that a 200hp golf isnt much faster than a polo.....
when it comes to 120-130 km up the golf is faster, but equal to that point, the polo is smaller but handles better that the golf,

so i would think it depends what you want ???

The symbol does not appear at a particular temprature,(as far as i know)

it does however show as you said around 0C, or when the temprature outside suddenly drops....so it can still show at 9C....
