I have a 99 1.4 polo and was looking around for a good engine in my car and was thinking about putting a 1.6 16v in as it would be more or less a straight swap but then i saw a polo gti engine from a 2000 mk3!
how much hassle would this be as a conversion?

its definetly the gearbox same thing happened me another few miles and it wont drive at all! had to fork out £250 for a new gearbox and another £150 on getting it fitted plus a few other things
