I took my 07 GTI back to VW as the 12v Socket in the ashtray stopped working...they told me it had been replaced but when I got the car back it still didnt work!!! I had to book it in with them again, The only good thing was, they gave me a Golf with a DSG gearbox to drive for two days

I think the cup front bumper looks sweet on these cars...I was thinking of getting one, the only thing putting me off is loosing the fog lights!

What coilovers are you using? Any catching yet?

Thats odd cos my GTI came with a 16" Steel wheel with a Dunlop tyre?

I'm looking at getting coilovers for my gti...but I've only managed to find Eibach and KW...I didn't know FK made coilovers for the gti? How much do they cost?

This might sound stupid...but what is ar edemption claim?

Where did you buy the parts from?

I was thinking of changing the fronts for Mk4 Golf Anniversary ones but VW wanted silly money for all the parts!

I've got one in mint condition that I bought as a spare...never got round to fitting a tyre to it though!

Not sure if I want to sell it...but could be tempted depending on price?

I've got a genuine VW Sharan one, which i assume 'enigma' copied or something

It DOES affect reception, but only when you are in weak signal areas. Most of the time its fine.

yeah that would put me off also mine is not one of these ones and my reception is perfect as the standard one was Where did you get yours from Jeff? I'm hoping its only a general disclaimer just in case. I'v ordered one anyway - its only 11 quid. There is loads of posts about them somewhere on that...

Looks good...the only thing that worries me is when they say

'Radio reception may be slightly affected in some areas.'

it looks rubbish and its not honeycombe either which looks so much better I think it finishes the front off nicely as it matches the slats in the lower part of the bumper...I think the GTI should have come with the complete honeycombe grill set like the Mk5 Golf...as it doesn't i think the above gr...

look at FK or Mattig pages-they're among the best but also very expensive!

at the pic is FK badgeless grill...I think...

Thanks for that...but I tried them both and unfortunately they don't have anything for the 9N3 Polo!
