Have you lowered your car more or less since fitting the tyres?
Lowering a car with a solid rear beam is known to induce tow-in which could be the issue.

Re: Stiff/Sticky gear change
Well,
This morning it was stiff for like a minute, then it's gone back to normal and was ok for the entire morning commute.
I'm guessing something has got into the linkage somewhere, maybe in the rubber grommet on the cables or something.. Stupid winter.

Stiff/Sticky gear change
I noticed this morning when I got into my car that the gear change was very stiff compared to normal.. Almost sticky. I first initially thought ice may have got onto the cables or something.. But it did it for the entire 30 minute commute to work. Same issue one the 45 min commute back, although, li...

Floppy Gearstick
My gearstick has started to develop brewers droop..
Does anyone know the parts required to fix this please? I'm assuming bushes of some sort? I've done a search and can't find anything.

1.4 16v (75bhp) EPC and Engine light on...
Posting on behalf of my mate... He's got a 2001 1.4 16v (75bhp) and has an intermittent fault for ages. The EPC light comes on randomly, as does the engine management light. When the car is turned off and started again the EPC light disappears then will come back on again in a few miles. I've VAGCOM...

Re: Verity's Reflex Silver GTI

So many people just see cars as a form of A to B and don't care about theirs and adopt the same approach to other peo...
