you dont have to replace the full boot lock.. t6here is a little switch in their you can get them from about £2 form the scrapper they were alot more a vw...

cheers for the photos dee.. i read somewhere that you need projector lights for hids.. like the standard gti ones... how much did you shell out for those headlights?? im tryin to keep mine subtle only had a few things done think i need to lower n get wheels before i get new lights dunno yet tho....

thanks for the heads up dee-vub... i was thinkin about gettin gti headlights but im determind to not make it look like a gti, simply becuase it isnt one...yourheadlights are cool you got any more pics of them???

could they not be wired to an immobilizer light or something like that from an after market alarm?? thinking about doing this as door security is quite important lol

i blew my ignition live.. still not fixed it just wired it to the permanent live he he.... i would say check that first off before you send the cd player back...

you could try wiring a diff headunit in... or putting yours into a friends car....

thats what im not really up for... plus i have to work and if i bugger the immobilizer then thats it lol... i would love to do it myself but im not good with electrics took me ages to find out what was wrong with my boot light (water damage). thanks for the advice though was very helpful...

i saw that but it isnt approved if not fitted by a professional... there is no central locking in place at all as when i had the door card off there was nothing but stoneage window mech... i just think 260 for a none thatchem approved alarm is abit steep... does anyone have any similar experiences??...

i went for alpine type S 16.5cm front componants went in dead easy just a bit of old wire cutting and your rocking... not sure if there that good but IMO there decent... got them from motor-world.co.uk
