Jarno,

Let's set the record straight. I owe you the picture! You have helped a lot. I had no clue where to start from, and you have given me a full plan on where to go from here. I will post before and after pics of the car. I will shoot some pictures of the engine tomorrow and post them up.

warrmr,

I've already sent an email to awesome and I am waiting for a reply. As you said, they definitely know there stuff.
I personally dont have the knowledge to transplant an engine, but the 1.8T has such a complicated wiring system that garages here are unfamiliar with. The Honda on the other ...

Jarno,

Point taken, 8 piston is overkill. That leaves me with only the option that warrmr gave.

6 Pistons, that looks quite impressive. Are you sure that is a Brembo Pedro? Though I am surprised because I've checked the brembo website and it said it had nothing to offer for the Polo. I'm gonna try to contact them direct in case they have something for the Polo but they havent included it on ...

warrmr,

I did try searching but couldn't find what I was looking for. If I was in the UK, then I would look into customizing the setup and getting parts from other cars adapted to fit my car cause you do have garages there that can do decent work. I am in Bahrain, where you have very few people ...

Thank you for your replied. I checked the Brembo GT, but unfortunately they dont make kit for the Polo. I will be using the car for a track competition which is 7 continuous laps on part of a f1 circuit that is very demanding on brakes. In other words, I need something that can take a lot of abuse ...

Can anyone recommend a good brake kit for track use? My car is a 1999 VW Polo 1.4 8V.
