Yeah i agree the handling is pretty crisp.... 8)

With a bit of modification they handle really well, better than the lardy newer ones anyway, seen the video in the "ooh baby" post?

Its true to say though, they arent the grippiest, but that only adds to the fun!

Liking it, liking it a lot.

Rarest mk2 of all for sale, rare chance.

I would if i had the money, i would expect it to go up to silly money. Only 300 odd ever made mostly in black, so this is even rarer. Also i know those rims are minging, but also incredibly rare. Check it out, and buy it if you love mk2's and have the money........ http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...

That appears to be correctly wired up at the coil end. On mine, from the firewall, red/black goes to -1, and black goes to 15+. From the module, black goes to 15+ and green to -1. Im not sure but i think the red/black wire may be for the rev counter. Have you tried hot wiring the car? are all the wi...

There are plenty of people on here, and porka.net, who are knowledgable and will be happy to help you out with problems such as the ignition one. Why don't...

Yeah I reckon the 1.6 would possibly be the favorite, as even in standard form it produces more torque than the 3F GT engine. I Thinkit would be possible to run this engine with an MH engine head, and use my existing twin choke weber 32/34, and then retain much of the original engine electronics, an...

Cheers chap! yep its a shame that the older polos dont get the respect they deserve, I often think if there had been a more powerful mass produced one, they would be regarded in the same light as the mk1/2 golfs are now. I really cant fault them, except for the brakes ....but that just adds to ...
