Factory VW/AUDI supplied spark plugs for Polo GTIs are NGK Platinums. I heard that buying OEM actually ends up being more expensive. Just replaced mine yesterday after 52000km / 5 years.

Jeff, I have to also say that It's Stage 2 REVO that kills the economy. I used to get average 8.2-9.0litres / 100km. My average now sits at around 10litres / 100km and can be worse in city. This is with REVO 2.

Re: Mechanic @ Awesome Told Me About an Engine Mount..
Try with the air conditioning on in middle of summer, waiting at the traffic light. You won't like it much then. I would strongly advise 'street version'.
Congrats on REVO. I love it, but I think it's false advertisement that their trial turns off after 5 hours. Their trial cripples our cars after 5 ...

Re: Mechanic @ Awesome Told Me About an Engine Mount..
Good idea, problem with trial tune is that I heard - that they may not go back to exact 'stock tune' it was - and more going to 'stock tune' by REVO. That's what I heard.
APR mount will also improve your gear shift feel - and will feel more direct. Go with street racing version, not the hard core ...

Re: Polo GTi's and remaps - want 200bhp
if you are going down with REVO tune, then it's 50 pound extra upgrade, and you are not doing things twice doubling up the cost.
All the things I have mentioned is adding towards stage 2. You will not be doing same thing twice.

Re: Polo GTi's and remaps - want 200bhp
You don't need FMIC to get to that power. FMIC may net you around 5-8hp, but main aim is to keep the car cool to produce the same performance again and again - which may be beneficial if your area can be very hot during summer.

kc it would be worth while monitoring your boost - as Forge intercoolers have known to cause 'loss in boost' compared to stock intercoolers - producing less power than actual stock form. Although heat soak is largely reduced by Forge (which normally produces excellent products) - there have been ...

Re: FAO APR Remapped peoples....
Have you guys not received dyno chart with boost as well? AFR / boost - you probably want to see those too.
Otherwise - you can do rolling test on each others car with VAGCOM and measured the block data.
Can't believe you guys don't have a boost gauge in your cars!! First thing to look for if you ...

Re: FAO APR Remapped peoples....
I have had Stage 2 REVO since May this year. I haven't had a chance to get it dynoed yet....
The settings as far as I know on REVOs are
1) boost
2) timing
3) fuel
I think my setup is currently boost 8, timing 7, fueling 9.
My fuel consumption from Stage 1 REVO (which was around 27MPG on average ...
