i have replaced the cup holder using some help from a thread on this forum before. i will try and find u the link.

however, on that thread, somebody claimed the two clips that hold it in pkace were both on the stereo side... i.e. removing the gamma +cd player or cubby, will give u access to the ...

try taking a hair dryer on the highest heat to it. get very close in with the hair dryer, but only in 30 second spurts so u dont overheat the lens or melt anything. that black goo stuff they use is a bit of work to melt down, but believe me it can be done!

do NOT oven them, as the chrome inside ...

interior looks MINT mate. absolutely fantastic, and as mentioned it is really really rare.

thanks pidge. Yep they were XZN nuts, made of a very soft metal, and so if u use a torx bit it can really shred the pattern. the 12pointed star is also called a triple square. went down to my nearest parts place and bought the bit for £3. then i did the job properly!!

thanks but i am still looking for help with what bit to use to get these nuts out. IF i continue to use a torx bit, i will shred the pattern inside the nut, which will really mess things up coz then i'll never be able to get them out!!

did everybody here remove the nuts using a torx set? what size ...
