I have a Remus exhaust system for sale. Consists of straight through centre section and back box complete with clamps. The clamps are 50mm in diameter. This will fit 16v Mk4 and some 6n2s. Check the plastic part that the thermostat pin pushes against. Most likely that has broken.

An amplifier will help. The standard headunit has a built in booster so it is advised to fit a booster when changing headunits.

Cambelt at 60,000.

Try putting some engine flush through it and then do an oil change. The tappets are hydraulic I believe. The flush shold do it some good.

Just bought a Mk4 Golf gear knob from China on ebay. The gaiter is stapled to the base. Anyone come across this? Any ideas to get the gaiter to fit.

My 6n 1.6 produces a 'clicking' noise every so often. It goes when you drepress the clutch. I was thinking either release bearing or clutch assembly.

There is a bung on the side (bottom) by the subframe to drain.
There is a bung on the front of the box to fill. Fill until oil emergres from the hole. Start engine and run through the gears. Top up. 17mm allen key needed for bungs.

Use 75\80 gearbox oil.
