How much would it cost to get the gearbox casing replaced?

Hi all,

Couple of days ago i replaced the clutch on my MK5 POLO and yesterday i noticed a patch of oil under my car,

Its coming from the gearbox shaft, took it to garage who said its the selector seal which is a common fault on these cars, got the part from VW dealers and the garage replaced it ...

I don't know any garages that use VW parts.

I have a MK5 Polo, a flashing Service ISNP message showed up couple of days ago near the meter reading, i bought it when it was 53000, & now its 55000, do you reckon it needs a full service or just the basic:

Oil filter
Air filter ...

Was wondering which would be the best option:

1. Buy the service parts from VW dealers, and get them put in by local garage.

2. Or go to kiwk fit or autocentre, to get it serviced.

I was wodnering which Sat NAv would be better to purchase

1.VW MCD
2. VW MFD

I have a 5-dr 2000 Polo 1.4 SE, also will it fit into the polo. I'm a bit worried about my car getting broken into, don't wanna attract attention.
