Dont bother with a H its not worth finding out if it will work on your car or not, The H requests more boost and smooths it out but is prone to limp mode as i found out, J requests less but smooths out the boost, the OEM isnt smooth, and surges around 3200 but in that surge provides up to 1,4 bar ...

@ Jeff, does your J valve still have the same feel of boost as the F? my H didnt seem to have the same pull

looks likely the H valve was really good on my car, really smooth, no surging, it just asked for too much boost, its definately the most aggresive valve for sure

just to add further, the H valve isnt so good with a remap, i hit limp mode after setting off from work today, and was bored for the next 40 miles

For anyone interested in some info on the N75 valves, i can cofirm as of tonight that the "H" versions, does not work well with a standard Gti, it throws it into limp mode requesting too much boost from the map.

However, after J (more-bhp) remapped the car, the valve was fine with a really smooth ...

more-bhp do u not get the whooosh sound after u drilled ur airbox? Dont u get a lot of heat soak from the engine?

Im not J but ill answer in his absense :) with a drilled airbox and uprated DV, coupled with a map, you will get a more audible noise because of the increase in boost pressure, but ...

a custom map will allow you to have whatever characteristics you desire
