We have a 2003 1.2E which after driving it new 50yds from the forcourt was noisy from 15mph. Turn the engine off, freewheel dip the clutch its still there. The dealer fitted softer tyres which made no difference to the firestones. At present VW technical are involved but not interested. They say ...
