typically my passenger electric window has decided to die on me, after sending most of my holiday to fix it, i have realised that i need new parts.

i need new cables, window guides, everything else seems fine. is it worth me trying to source these parts? or just buy a new assembly?

could be the start of a water pump failure, the symptons where the same on my 1.4cl.

i had the exact same problems on mine. but by looking at the pics your locks seem to be from a later model, is yours on a 98+plate? if it is im quite sure that only a vw dealer can get into the barrel of the lock, something to do with a anti-theft device.
