yeah grab the lighter unit pull out and down and it unclips. pull it further and you'll see the wires. Then to reattach it push it in and up then it'll click back. Also to get more room remove the ash tray the same way, except there's clips inside so reach in with your fingers. It's really easy ...

For the money that sub deal is good, with £400 you want to set aside at least £200 for the speakers, are you planning on getting a seperate amp for the speakers also? Or just run them off the headunit?

probly run them off the headunit for now, i think im going to put some 6.5" speakers in the ...

ok mate firstly whip out your stereo. u then gotta leaver off the fascia where your heater controls are with a screwdriver and undo those 4 screws. theres a further two screws holding on the btoom bit that were concealed by the heater bit. then leaver out your hazard warning lightswitch and window ...

Yeh you could put them in the shelf, you may want to look at door mounting them. Check out some scrappies see if you can find some doorcards with speaker holes, or just make some yourself?

Components and 6.5" coxials are alot better than 6X9s in my opinion. 6X9s are just gash!!

6X9s are not the only answer!!!!!!

I'd get 6.5" coxials or components. To connect simply purchase some speakers cable, and run them from the speakers to the back of the headunit, (preferably under the carpet and behind the dash), you then need to snip the wires which currently run to the OEM ...

i have a 98 6n but it only has speakers on the dash not in the doors
