Re: Turning off number plate lights
Actually i do have OEM LED units fitted, but that shouldnt make a difference, there should be no power going to them at all when the headlight switch is 0 !

Re: Turning off number plate lights
Yes they are on all the time with ignition on, regardless of the headlight switch position.
Are they hard wired in to be ON like the front dipped beam on the 2014 onwards polos?

Turning off number plate lights
Hi all
Does anyone know how to turn off the number plate lights?
They are constantly on.
There is no option in VCDS, only side lights via terminal 15 can be unselected.
Thanks

Re: 6C LED Headlights DRL wiring
Brilliant thanks mate, just what I needed!
Im not worried about the DRL dimming function, so pin 10 to pin 10 will do me just fine
Do I need to wire up both pins for the LED module to function? So 10->10 and 10->12?
Its a quickfix and easy installation, not going full OEM with BCM etc.

Re: aux tentioner pully Bolt
The tensioner pulley bolt goes in from behind the bracket and is easy to replace
Just get a new bolt and new pulley, 10 minute job.

Re: Difference in heated seat modules
Do you know what output is provided by bcm to the heated seat module? Is it +12v to activate it?
Just wondering if i can still use the heated seats without connecting and activating the bcm

Difference in heated seat modules
Does anyone know the difference between 6r0959772A and 6r0959772D ?
Both are valid part number, A being fitted to 6R and D to 6C
Retrofitting Audi heated seats to 6R and just trying to figure out the difference and which is the best module to use.
Audi use D version throughout the A1.

There seems to be a area for the Fog light too
Can this not be enabled by removing the rear plastic cap?
Then using the correct H11 bulbholder
