Gutterd! Same wheels :(

Since buying the polo, i see them eveywhere, that i do not mind, i went to MFN cruise sunday night, as i do most sundays, huge turn out alot of dubs. to my terror! another mark 4 on ats cups! :( gutterd.

alot of my firends on the car modding scene have been asking if im putting a backbox on mine. No, It will stay hidden. Looks more Euro with the exhaust hidden. I just need to tidy her up, she will be nice and simple!

(back to the post) - Erm id say a respray, after 10 years or having never been washed i think the colour will have faded so having the pannals done and sprayed will just make the car patchy. So i agree a full respray is most def the only way to go.

Thanks for the comments guys. She'll being lowerd this saturday, 60mm all around, she will look so much better. I plan on mrk5 rear lights, clear side repeaters and clear front indecaters. 16V bumpers if i can find any.

60mm won't rub? what are they like with road humps? Hmm saying that my mates VTR is 90mm and he can just manage them.

That may be somthing to do in the future. Think i'd go 60mm and then have a saving spree, see how low i can go.

Minds made up, 60mm it is! I've found some springs, Jamex 60mm kit with shocks £118 on Ebay. £10 delivery. Sound good?

I was wondering the same thing, i was going to go 50mm with my 195/45/15's but 60 mm sounds better. Any idea how low this will look?

The wheel bearing is a taper fit, so it will losen or tighten depending on how tight you crank the hub bolt up (both sides are right hand thread). They don't actually need to be that tight. Mine was easy to get out when checking my rear drums over.
