crunchy 2nd, does it pop out of 5th under load. check the MFA works (the little computer thing, press the button on the wiper stalk). Check the sunroof works, then its the usual really. yeh, looked in a book at a parts place and its meant to be bent. It must be the bushes, they are squidgy as anything. Ordered the arb ones and arb to lower arm ones from superflex earlier, they dont do the arm to chassis ones yet though :( Or bumpstops. So I now gotta get those ones and the bumpstop...

Whats the name of the one that attatches to the suspension further up? It goes into the centre of the car, mines bent :cry: (I assume its meant to be straight as the passenger side is).
This explains the wheel sitting further back in the arch and scrubbing on the rear! :shock: :o How much are they?

I put this in the G40 section, but I thought Id put it in here as more people look here: Does anyone reccomend or have any advice for bushes on a G40? mine are shagged. the passenger wheel moves backward a little when you tighten the wheel up and the drivers side wheel sits further back than the pas...

its an M8 (not mate :wink: ).
If they had rounded then you could use a 12mm mukti sided (I think its 12) socket, hammered that on and they come off quick. Only thing is they don't really wotk after doing it about 4 times :? (alright if you aint got any others and need a temporary solution though :P ).

What bushes?

Is that the bar that attaches the hub/suspension assembly to the frame of the car? (sorta H shaped bit that the arb terminates into). I think I need to do my bushes as the drivers wheel sits a little further back in the arch than the passenger side :? :(
