you should be hearing it. try revving the engine brutally. when i'm driving i can barely here it

sorry wasn't around for a while.

yeah still got the noise even though it's fainter from the inside of the car (but near the grill its quite loud)

yeah i know but my first cone filter wouldn't fit otherwise :roll: but i'll be fiberglassing it shut soon

i would like the thrid picture from diffrent views if it's possble? i want to drill a 60mm hole in this plastic wall behind the grill (6n2) and fit the air funnel there


what kind of air filter is this?

check this out. i decided to get rid of the stock airbox but you can still use the stock airfilter/box and route the intake tube like i did

fitting an autogauge rev counter

hi

i'm fitting an autogauge rev counter in my mk4 6n

now i know that:

Black: Earth: connects to brown wire.
Yellow: Battery live: connects to red wire
Red: Ignition Live: connects to black wire

however i know green is for the negative coil or tacho wire but i don't know which wire it is in the ...

you're sure? it evens does it with the airfliter off and didn;t do it before. and i can sens air coming out of the green thingy as i shut off


the bip was definitly there before but it just lasts way longer now

about the 2 pipes from the stock box, was it a big one (like 1 1/2cm in diameter) and a smal;ler one? if yes the smaller one seems to be the one hissing. but any idea about the green thingy in the first pic?

for number 2 there's no after market electronics on the car but i suspect it is related to ...
