Have a 51 1.4 SE polo with central locking... drivers door beginning to develop lock issue and may need replacing soon ... Having sorted the lock on my R reg polo previous I don't want to have to take the lock apart again etc so thought a better solution might be just to fit a remote locking system ...

And the clip has probably come off the runner. Just clip it back on. I cabletied mine so it wont unclip again hopefully.

Thanks - am going to do that this afternoon if it ever stops raining! lol. Also a mate has suggested looking at the microswitch on the drivers side central locking control switch.. will let you know what occurs..
