According to the Haynes Manual its "VW additive G12 only (antifreeze and corrosion protection)" and they say every two years renew the coolant and also the brake and clutch fluid. For the 1.2 engine its 5.2l required and 5.5l for the 1.4

I have the same squeak noise as you when pressing the brake lightly, all that needs to be done is to rub some copper grease to back of the pads and this will stop them from making that noise. If they need to be replaced you should have a wear sensor on the left hand side front brake you might want ...

Drove to a game yesterday 3 people in the car including myself so the car wasn't full by any means. Nearly every bump we hit the car was squeaking. Well new year so need to get some new car cleaning products. Was looking at some websites and its just endless the amount of stuff you can get and the different brand they have as well. Mainly I just use AG car wash, then megs clay bar and then some wax that i got in halfords. So if any one can tell ...

In regards to the software update i had one done to my car about 4 to 5 months ago. Its sounds very strange like in regards to the gunked up pipes all i can recommend is a good long trip to try and clear the system.
