i put a little bit at the bottom of my DIY thread about the contrast between the black and grey

you cant SEE any fixing from the underside. i think you would be able detatch it but it would be a case of removing the whole sunroof unit to get to the fixings which in my eyes aint worth the ball ache.

its relatively easy. i was a bit aprehensive to begin with as ive never done anything like this before.

as for the sunroof cover im still a bit bewildered as how to do it. i didnt remove the c pillars completely i just removed the top clips and slid the headlining forward then back out of the boot.

did a DIY guide. will upload finished pictures tomorrow!

retrimmed the headlining in a different fabric. many people do it, but only a handful have done it to a sunroof model

All done! Not as hard as I thought! Just scary pulling your car apart! Will get all te pictures up later on!

It won't be a rushed job as I don't mind driving around without a liner for a few days just need that bit of info before I start

i have a sunroof model, and i know its covered lots but not specifically for sunroof models. 2 questions: control unit for the electric sunroof, how do i remove it to get the headlining out? pillars, do these just prise off? a walkthrough for a 6n2 would be fantastic if anybody knows of one, thanks!...

with speaker doors can you just unplug the originals and plug in new ones with the existing cabling?

i think it all seems straight forward from the help youve given me in your thread. the only thing thats bogling me now is the plastic bit between the curtosy light and the knob for the leccy sunroof

Cheers. Seals you just pull out carefully. All pillar trims are the same, they just pop out.
