Hey guys. Being the immensely useful bunch you are I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone who does roll cages for the 6n?
Oh and not that half show cage please, that looks like if you rolled it would snap into a hundred pieces and your face would become the new mounting point .
Thanks all
Ash

Re: Idle Problem? read this.
My 6n2 was a nightmare for idling. From what I recall any number of things case it. I just began to ignore mine, it only stopped when I had a new exhaust, temp sensor, and lamda so it was probably one of those!

Cheap 6n Track Day Car.
Well, I've decided that I'd enjoy going as fast as possible but without risking my licence. With that in mind and my previous lovely polo experience I've decided to buy a base 6n and turn it into a track day car as cheaply as possible for a bit of fun. I'm going to pick myself up a <1k 1.4 or 1.6 CL...

Some great points there, thanks for all the input guys. I take your point on getting bored of the car but I'm really in no way bored with mine, I just wish it was a bit faster and in better condition! Is there any obvious way to differentiate between the 75 and 100 bhp models? What's the diff betwee...

Opinions on the 1.4 SE
Ok so I've owned my 1.0E for nearly 4 years now and frankly, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect first car. That said, I have not treated it as well as I might and it's a bit tatty these days. So, I'm going to sell it and I'm thinking of replacing it with a 1.4SE. So I'm looking for opinions on...

Engine code
Is the code for the 2000 W reg 6n2 1.0E ALD.AUC?
I only ask because I need some new air filters and spark plugs.
Another question.
How much should I be paying for Air Filter and Spark Plugs??

Oh dear  I have not had it serviced since since 04/05/04 at 29,000 miles. It's now done just short of 55000  All I've done since then is had a new back box fitted, new sparks, kept the oil topped up, one new coil and had the breaks done all round. Blimey! Hmm, I'm considering tarting it ...

Trouble starting
Hi everyone,
The car just feels a bit sluggish starting, was just wondering if anyone has any ideas what it might be. It's overdue a service a bit.
I was going to get the spark plugs and the air filters changed.
Any other ideas anyone?

New head unit and amp
Hi everyone. So I'm looking to get a new HU since my old Alpine one was stolen. I was going to get some new speaker too, but I bought Focal V Slim 165 Polyglass and they were about £180 so I'm assuming they're pretty good. Only problem is the one of the left hand side doesn't work! Could it be a lo...

Please accept my apologies for this terrible terrible post. My car has just failed its MOT on a wheel failure. They're trying to bend it back into place but it might (and knowing my luck, will) snap. So I'm wondering where the best place to get either... A set of 4 13" steel stock wheels. 1 x 1...

Suspension (again)
Sorry, this isn't as exotic and interesting as normal.
My totally normal standard polo suspension I fear is going.
How much would it be for totally standard new suspension all around?
Does anyone know?
Thanks
Ash
